General write-up on Perlis
Although small in size, Perlis packs a punch with its variety of sights and scenes. Known as the northern gateway to Malaysia, Perlis is popular for its duty-free shopping at the Malaysia-Thai border towns. Similar to Kedah, its countryside offers scenic vistas of sprawling paddy fields punctuated by rustic villages, fruit farms and limestone outcrops. Climbers often make their way to Bukit Keteri, a karst limestone formation touted as one of Asia’s toughest scaling routes. Click here to know more.
