Must-see Themed Attractions
How to find it, you may ask? It’s easy enough,
just look up! The Top sits at the very tip of
Penang’s highest tower, which looms over
the Georgetown Central Business District at
impressive and dizzying height of 249m. To fully
appreciate this thrilling height, head up to the 68th
level. Here, you will be treated to a 360° panoramic
view of the Georgetown sky when you walk on
their Rainbow Skywalk. This is a clear walkway, so be
prepared for the sight of Georgetown sprawled right
beneath your feet! Not only that, consider elevating
this experience by trying it out during the sunset,
or during the night instead. For a more immersive
experience, you can try challenging the Sky Bridge on
the 65th floor. This is the highest outdoor tower walk in
Malaysia, sitting at a breathtaking 239m above ground
with only a net separating you from the skies.
Keep the adrenaline flowing by giving the indoor
attractions a go as well. Try out the Toppogan, the
longest indoor slide in Penang. Slide, spin, and rush
down this colourful ramp with the available tubes and
join in the fun, no matter your age. Visitors can also
try Penang’s first indoor Meta Cart with GP Meta Kart,
located on the 3rd level of the tower. Enjoy navigating
the course on electric go-carts while decked out with
IDB Details Intro colourful lights and remember to put on your
helmets! When you’re done there, step into the
Jungle Gym, an enchanting land that will further
entice and enrich your children and their senses.
Here, children can explore to their heart’s content,
with fabulous multicoloured slides, a ball pit, and
other obstacles that will get them active and their
hearts pumping.
The Top has several attractions that will spark
their mind as well. Children who are interested in
walking the trails of the past could visit the Jurassic
Research Center. Here, they could meet the
predators of the past and see them come to life.
Or, they can do a deep dive and pay a visit to the
Penang Boutique Aquarium instead. Here, you can
get up close and personal with a variety of marine
creatures, both common and rare. This educational
aquarium is surely a treat for those interested in
underwater life! There is so much more that The
Top has to offer, so we encourage you to explore
for yourselves and uncover what it is that makes
The Top one of the must-see attractions when you
head up North.
